Kontes Kapal Indonesia

The Kontes Kapal Indonesia (KKI) is a competition showcasing innovation in shipbuilding technology, including design, prototyping, and performance evaluation in maritime engineering.

KKI is organized for students and supported by academics, practitioners, and institutions to contribute ideas in the maritime field from the perspective of shipbuilding and marine technology. KKI 2024, the 10th edition, will be held at Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya.

This year, Barunastra ITS secured 2nd place in the Fuel Engine Remote Control (FERC) category and won the overall championship for ITS.
